A gentleman's extremely rare, nearly unworn Glashuette wristwatch with oversize date and power reserve indicator - limited edition no. 06 of 10 pieces made in white gold. Mith original box, original certificate and operating instructions

Case: 18k white gold, screwed on sapphire glazed back, Lange platinum buckle. Dial: white gold, rhodium-plated and engine-turned, radial Roman numerals, auxiliary seconds, white gold alpha hands. Movm.: 3/4 plate movement, German silver, "fausses côtes" decoration, 5 adj., 53 jewels, twin barrel, hack feature, nine screwed gold chatons, Glucydur screw balance, very finely hand-engraved balance cock, shock protection for balance, index spring fine adjusting device.

This wristwatch is an interesting version of the identical special edition model "Honoris Causa" (Ref 112.048), a one of a kind piece with the engraving "1/1" that was produced in red gold specifically for an auction. This LANGE 1 (ref 112.047) was produced for Lange retailer "Oeding Erdel" in a limited edition of 10 white gold pieces only.
