A gentleman's very fine skeletonized, astronomical platinum pocket watch with perpetual calendar and moon phase, the first officially produced watch of a small series with the serial no. 17, no. 001 is in the property of the museum of Audemars Piguet - with original platinum watch chain (99,5 g) Case: platinum, polished, glazed on both sides. Dial: skeletonized, outer blue enamelled chapter ring with diamond indexes, subsidiary rings for the indications of the months and leap year at "12", date at "3", auxiliary seconds in combination with phases of the moon and its age at "6", weekdays at "9", blued lozenge hands. Movm.: bridge movement, rhodium plated, skeletonized, hand-engraved, Glucydur screw balance, shock protection for balance and escape wheel, finely ground and bevelled parts for calendar.
