A rare double-case verge pocket watch created by Charles Frodsham’s grandfather, who was the founder of the Frodsham dynasty
Case: outer case - silver, polished, à goutte, large lateral hinge. Inner case - silver, polished, case maker's punch mark "TL". Dial: enamel, radial Roman hours, spade hands. Movm.: full plate movement, keywind, applied engraved ornaments, firegilt, signed, chain/fusee, square baluster pillars, three-arm steel balance, florally engraved, pierced balance cock.
