Otto Th. Cederqvist, Linköping, Height 1450 mm, circa 1850

A collection of a Swedish seconds pendulum clock and a machine and accessories for gear cutting that was used to cut the train for this clock
Case: fruitwood, glazed front, glazed windows to the sides, undulated pediment with graven coat of arms. Dial: glass, black, hour at "6", radial Roman numerals, seconds at "12", central minute indicator, Breguet hands. Movm.: solid trapezoid-shaped brass movement, solid movement pillars, weight driven, Graham escapement, brass/steel pendulum.

Carl Otto Theodor Cederqvist
Born Mars 13 th 1825 in Skeda, dead in 1915, son of Watchmaker Carl Magnus Cederqvist. Watchmaker in Linköping 1845 to 1850.
1840 senior and junior Cederqvist was visting Germany and Berlin on a round trip at the same time the wheelcutter, and the machine was used for the making of the clock as a final apprentice test.
The clock have three months of duration and in a nice fruitwood case and a painted glass dial. The pendulum have most likely been remade.
