A very fine and heavy, astronomical minute repeating hunting case pocket watch with perpetual calendar and retrograde date indicator
Case: 18k rose gold, engine-turned, black enamelled monogram, à goutte, signed gold dome, slide for repeating mechanism. Dial: silvered, lavishly florally engraved, inlaid radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds, segment-shaped aperture with cobalt blue enamelled golden moon phase disc with applied gold moon and stars, moon age, three subsidiary dials for indications of the weekday, month and retrograde date, Louis XVI hands. Movm.: bridge movement, nickel-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 2 hammers / 2 gongs, pink gold train, wolfteeth winding wheels, large screw compensation balance, counterpoised lever.
