Hackler, Preston, 56 mm, 163 g

A gentleman's unusual pocket watch with oversized five-arm balance, formerly with Massey-Typ-IV-lever escapement

Case: silver, engraved cartouche, engine-turned, reeded band, case maker's punch mark "HM" (probably Henry Mansell of Liverpool), glazed movement. Dial: enamel, radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds, spade hands. Movm.: full plate movement, keywind, silvered, large monometallic five-arm balance (29 mm), blued balance spring, chatoned diamond endstone on balance.
Case: very good, later custom made

Movm.: very good, capable of running, later escapement, cleaning recommended
