A gentleman's decorative gold enamel quarter repeating pocket watch with musical movement. The musical movement plays on the hour and on demand
Case: gold enamel, back cover with fine polychrome enamelling, decorated in geometrical pattern, the center of the case, covered with translucent red enamel over flinqué, case band with Champlevé lozenges, engraved gold dome, pusher for repetition via pendant. Dial: enamel, Arabic "Breguet" numerals, blued Breguet hands. Movm.: 1/2 plate movement, keywind, frosted, gilt, going barrel, cylinder escapement, gold three-arm ring balance, double sided pinned-disc musical mechanism (sur plateau) with 50 vibrating blades acting on both sides of the disc mirror-polished, bevelled levers for musical movement.
