Case: mahogany, veneered, moulded base and cornice; top with round glazed aperture and engine-turned, gilt bezel; glazed dial with domed glass, engine-turned and gilt bezel, cast handle with dolphin ornament, 4 lion feet, string for repetition. Dial: enamel, Arabic numerals, centre seconds, blued Breguet hands, blued alarm hand. Movm.: rectangular brass full plate movement, gilt, keywind, chain/fusee, 2 hammers / 2 gongs, 1 hammer / 1 bell for alarm, finely ground rack strike levers applied on the back side, pivoted detent escapement, brass ring balance.
