, Movement No. 4488, 250 x 215 x 230 mm, circa 1829A well-kept, large ship's chronometer, sold 19th March 1829 to Monsieur Ducom for the price of 1100 Francs, with original correspondence of the Breguet company from the years 1947 and 1978. Original key No. 4488.
Case: heavy mahogany box, applied handles, with lid and slide, case key, oval shaped gimbals. Dial: silvered, signed, numbered, radial Roman hours and minutes at "12", large auxiliary seconds, winding hole, blued spade hands. Movm.: brass movement, ellipse shaped escapement,round movement pillars, barrel, applied platform with spring detent escapement, tripod adjusting device for the balance spring, heavy chronometer balance with 8 screws, helical balance spring, diamond endstone on balance.
