A very fine, heavy minute repeating hunting case pocket watch with chronograph and tachy scale
Case: 18k gold, polished, gold dome, case maker's punch mark "AN" (Alexis Nicole of Nicole & Norbier, entered 1 May 1865), pusher for chronograph at "12", slide for repeating mechanism. Dial: enamel, radial Roman hours, 60 min. counter, tachy scale, blued spade hands. Movm.: 3/4 plate movement, "Nielsen calibre", frosted, gilt, "PATENT", signed, 2 hammers / 2 gongs, screwed chatons, English lever escapement, gold screw compensation balance, fine florally engraved balance cock.
