A gentleman's decorative, very fine double-face pocket watch and original certificate for the South American market
Case: 18k gold, engine-turned bezels, engine-turned band, à goutte. Dial: Front side - silvered, florally engraved, applied floral godl ornaments, inlaid radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds, signed, blued spade hands. Reverse side - silvered, applied floral gold ornaments, outer ring for date indication, subsidiary dials for day and month indication, aperture for moon phase with cobalt blue enamelled moon phase disc with inlaid golden moon and stars, signed, blued hands. Movm.: bridge movement, rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, signed, gold screw compensation balance, counterpoised lever.
