A decorative gold enamel quarter repeating hunting case pocket watch Case: 18k gold, opaque polychrome enamelled, the front lid with sailing ships and boats, the back side with a cityscape, presumably of Ghent with the two towers of Het Rabot old city wall and Saint Bavo Cathedral, monogrammed "J.K.", gold dome, pusher for repetition at "6". Dial: frosted gilt, central small hour chapter dial with Arabic numerals made of translucid red enamel over an engine-turned ground, auxiliary seconds, screwed on polychrome enamel figures of two sailors striking the bell, auxiliary seconds, Breguet hands. Movm.: divided 3/4 plate movement, frosted, gilt, 2 hammers / 2 gongs, "Brevet", governor for repetition, monometallic screw compensation balance.
