A gentleman's important pocket watch with quarter repeating and calendar - former property of a noble family
Case: 18k gold, engine-turned, oval cartouche with engraved noble family crest, reeded band, signed gold dome, pusher for repetition via pendant. Dial: two-tone gilt, engine-turned centre, radial Roman hours, two subsidiary chapter rings for indications of the weekday and the date, signed, blued Breguet hand. Movm.: bridge movement, keywind, frosted, gilt, 2 hammers / 2 gongs, going barrel, cylinder escapement, ring balance, blued balance spring with bimetallic compensation curb on the index, chatoned diamond endstone on balance.
