A rare hexagonal horizontal table clock with quarter hour self strike

Case: brass, gilt, decprated with engraved foliate scrolls, the sides with six windows framed by cartouches, divided by stylized caryatids, three volute feet, rear bell. Dial: applied silver chapter ring with radial Roman hours, signed, Poker & Beetle hands. Movm.: hexagonal brass movement, gilt, florally engraved and pierced appliques, signed, chain/fusee, 2 florally engraved barrels, 3 hammers, verge escapement, three-arm brass balance, florally engraved and pierced balance cock.
