A miniature carriage clock "The gallant couple" produced for the English market

Case: gilt brass and polychrome porcelain, moulded and florally engraved, on all sides porcelain panels with fine miniature paintings: left a young man, right a young lady, top a young girl sitting in a garden, on the hinged door on the back side a garden with a church in the background, facet glazed front, waved handle. Dial: white porcelain dial on a blue background depicting, a pastoral scene below, radial Roman numerals, blued flower hands. Movm.: rectangular-shaped brass movement, keywind, platform with lever escapement, screw compensation balance.
