A gentleman's very fine Glashuette wristwatch with booklet

Case: 18k pink gold, screwed on sapphire glazed back, 18k "Lange" pink gold buckle. Dial: solid silver, Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds with seconds stop device, signed, pink gold alpha hands. Movm.: 4/5 plate movement, German silver, "fausses côtes" decoration, signed, screwed gold chatons, 5 adj., 21 jewels, Glucydur screw balance, very finely hand-engraved balance cock, incabloc shock protection, index spring fine adjusting device.

The name 1815 stands for the birth year of Ferdinand A. Lange, who established Germany’s precision watchmaking industry in Glashütte. The design of the 1815 is characterised by traditional style elements.
