This is a lot of a former auction!

Patek Philippe & Cie. Genève / Tiffany & Co.

, Movement No. 111721, Case No. 224658, Cal. 17''', 46 mm, 86 g, circa 1900

A gentleman's very fine, extremely rare Geneva minute repeating pocket watch so called "Trip Repeater" - with original box and Patek Philippe extract from the archives

Case: 18k rose gold, polished, pusher for repetition via pendant. Dial: enamel. Movm.: bridge movement, rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, tandem winding with mirror polished click on the top, gold screw compensation balance.

Around 1900 Patek Philippe started making double train trip repeaters with two barrels in very limited quantities. Fewer than thirty of them are known - to our knowledge all minute repeaters. The very elegant and heavy case was made in the famous goldsmith workshops of Tiffany & Co. jewellers.
Case: very good
Dial: very good
Movm.: very good, capable of running
