Case: wood, painted, dark brown surface with stylized drops, gilt bronze mountings and ornaments: volutes, rocailles and acanthus; glazed dial, glazed pendulum aperture with applied gilt bronze music instruments. Lateral sound holes with open work brass grilles, green silk lining. Matching curved bracket. Dial: enamel. Movm.: rectangular brass full plate movement, 2 barrels, 4 hammers / 2 bells, verge escapement, on reverse side fine matted applied rack strike levers, short pendulum. Muscial movement: heavy brass movement with chain/fusee and governor; a brass frame below with wooden pinned barrel and ten tin flutes.
