, Case No. 1956, 42 mm, 62 g, circa 1850An exquisite, thin Swiss gold enamel pocket watch with turnable case - so called "Cabriolet" - wearable as a lepine or as hunting cased watch - made for the North-American market
Case: 18k gold, enamel. Dial: gilt. Movm.: bridge movement, screw compensation balance.
This pocket watch stands out because of the exceptional quality of the case and the polychrome enamelled alpine landscape scenes.
