A lady's fine Glashuette wristwatch with oversized date - with original box, operating instructions, guarantee and setting pin
Case: 18k gold, glazed back. Dial: silvered. Movm.: 3/4 plate movement, hack feature, Glucydur screw balance.
A. Lange & Soehne, "Arcade"
Shape and name of this watch were inspired by the arcades of the city palace in Dresden, which have similarly shaped arches.
This lady's watch was first produced in 1994 and is one of the models - as is the Lange 1 - that Lange & Soehne presented on the occasion of the company’s spectacular revival. The most distinguishing feature of the watch is its generous date indicator, which is considerably larger and more clearly readable than the displays commonly used until then.
