Jaeger-LeCoultre "Reverso Répétition Minutes"

A gentleman's very fine and rare minute repeating wristwatch, no. 250 of a limited edition of 500 pieces, sold on 05/13/1995 - with original box, certificate, operating instructions, original sales receipt and accessories

Case: 18k pink gold, turnable case, JLC 18k pink gold deployant clasp. Dial: silvered, engine-turned. Movm.: 1/2 plate movement, 2 hammers / 2 gongs, Glucydur screw balance.

The rectangular 18K pink gold case is reversible, its back is smooth and polished. The silvered dial is decorated with a central engine-turned pattern and has Arabic numerals and blued sword hands. A small window between "4" and "5" shows part of the striking mechanism, emphasised by two blued screws and two rubies. This governor spins very fast when the repeater is released. The "Reverso Répétition Minutes" was launched in the mid 1990s and its retail price in the US in 1996 was 69,500 dollars.
