A large one-handed neo-Renaissance style neck watch in the shape of a crucifix
Case: silver/green and blue enamel/facetted glass. Dial: silver/white and green enamel. Movm.: cruciform brass full plate movement, verge escapement, gut/fusee, two-arm iron balance.
An unusually large and heavy pendant watch in the form of a crucifix with folding facetted glass parts. The dial has an applied silver chapter ring and is decorated with finely engraved partly green enamelled scrollwork and a white enamelled medallion showing the fall of man. The movement and the gilt balance staff are equally lavishly ornamented.
A nearly identical watch is held in the Moscow Kremlin Museum.
