An extremely rare vintage single button chronograph with 30 min. counter and blue tachy scale, sold on October 31st, 1935 to the Girod company, which was the Longines agent for Spain at that time - with Longines extract from the archives
Case: 18k gold, push back. Dial: silvered.
The calibre used in this chronograph is regarded as the forerunner of calibre 13ZN, which was developed in 1936 and which Longines submitted a patent application for. The first series of calibre 13ZN was manufactured from 1936 to 1939 as a single-pusher chronograph. The model was specially designed for pilots who depended on ease of use of the start/stop and zero setting functions.
