brass, moulded, screwed on silver windows to the sides, string for repetition, six winged claw feet, rear bell.

brass, applied silver chapter ring with Roman hours, gilded, frosted centre with silver chapter ring for alarm, lever for striking/silence, cut-out blued iron hands.

hexagonal brass movement, firegilt, chain/fusee, 2 splendidly engraved barrels for striking- and alarm train, 3 engraved hammers. additional hammer for alarm, verge escapement, three-arm brass balance.

Johann Christian Felsz was born in Glauchau and became a citizen of Gdansk in 1772. He is last mentioned in the records in 1803, the date of his death is not known.
