The Chrono-Datoluxe is considered the flagship model of the Angelus range. It was the first chronograph with day of the week and moonphase indication as well as a date indication in a window with lined-up coaxial ones and tens digits.
The first Angelus wrist chronographs were already available in the 1920s but the brand only made its name in the 1940s with the first large-scale production of a chronograph with full calendar.
This example is despite its age in excellent condition with sharp angles and a gently shimmering dial where the luminous hands and numerals have acquired a fine patina. The chronograph movement is equally well preserved and starts instantly.
