Patek Philippe launched the "Aquanaut" in 1997 and its young and modern design was considered a novelty on the market. Inspired by the Nautilus, the case is shaped like a rounded octagon. The "Tropical" strap matches the sporty look of this timepiece and is made of a composite material ultra-resistant to salt water and UV radiation.
This Aquanaut Travel Time in soft rose gold with a brown dial is a exceptionally convenient traveler’s companion, endowed with a self-winding movement. The two buttons in the left-hand case flank can be used to move the local-time hour hand forward or backward in one-hour increments. The date is coupled with the local time indication.
