An extremely rare wristwatch in mint condition, with panorama date display, chronograph with flyback function and countdown function with repeater - no. 32 of a limited series of 50 platinum pieces; with original box, operating instructions and certificate
Case: platinum, screwed on glazed back, crown set with sapphire cabochon, original platinum buckle. Dial: two-colour silvered, engine-turned.
The chronograph features a sectoral 30 minute counter (3 times 10 minutes) with central stop second, flyback and countdown functions (0-30 minutes); alarm at the end of the countdown with three strikes on the gong, where the central second and the 30-minute counter run backwards, independent of the hours, minutes and seconds displays.
The watch was elected "timepiece of the year" in 2001; at the time the list price was 88,000 D-mark.
