Only very few of the vintage timepieces made by Helmut Sinn in Frankfurt in Germany do not carry the company signature on the movement or the case but are signed by the suppliers ofthe movements and the parts. The "MultiChron Astronomic" chronograph was originally made by Gallet & Co. and is one of the rarest wristwatch models the Gallet manufactory ever created. Due to the exorbitant sales price, only a small number of watches were produced in steel or gold between 1955 and 1974; this makes the "MultiChron Astronomic" one of the most coveted vintage wristwatches ever. It is fitted with the manual wind calibre Valjoux 88, which is a modification of the legendary Valjoux 72C.
