This remarkable timepiece spent some time at Omega’s Research and Development Department before being returned to the OMTISO company in Israel on March 5, 1969.
The perfectly proportioned Seamaster 300 in Speedmaster form features slightly turned lugs, a revolving Bakelite bezel and a deep black dial with large luminous indexes and plongeur hands. The watch is Omega’s answer to the scuba diver watches that came on the market in the late 1960s: Blancpain‘s Fifty Fathoms, Rolex’ Submariner, and IWC’s Aquatimer.
This model was also worn by Royal Navy divers.
