This is an early pilot’s watch with a black dial and contrasting luminous Arabic numerals and luminous skeleton hands. The reeded bezel rotates bidirectional and has an index arrow for setting the estimated flight time. A ball-shaped winding crown sits on a long tube to enable the user to wind and set the watch while wearing gloves. The lugs have been soldered on to accommodate a strap bracelet, so that the watch can be worn either on the wrist or on the thigh just above the knee.
