This exquisite verge pocket watch sits in a fine repousse case which is – due to the protective outer case – in excellent condition. It is decorated with a baroque-style volute frame showing a portrait of Diana, patron of the hunters, in the forest.
In his book Brian Loomes lists I. Kover as watchmaker in London from 1720 to 1760.
