Case: bronze, lavishly engraved, ornamented and pierced, firegilt, front lid with 12 apertures for hour numerals. Dial: brass, engraved, radial Roman numerals, blued hand. Movm.: full plate brass movement, firegilt, iron going and striking train, 2 barrels for hour self strike and going train, verge escapement, locking plate with internal teeth, 1 hammer, bell, stackfreed, foliot.
