A very fine double-sided verge pocket watch with calendar
Case: 18k gold, engraved and chased band, cord string decor, the back side with translucent coffee-coloured enamelled bezel over engine-turned ground, large lateral hinge. Dial: Front side: enamel, eccentric white dial with radial Roman hours, polychrome enamel surrounding, depicting flower tendrils and Cupids against a light-green background, regulator scale, gold Louis XVI hands. Back side: enamel, outer ring with indication of the weekday, inner ring with indication of the date, blued hand. Movm.: full plate movement, keywind, firegilt, signed, chain/fusee, solid movement pillars, three-arm brass balance.
