Case: silver, polished, reeded band, case maker punch mark "LW". Dial: enamel, radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds, gold spade hands. Movm.: full plate movement, keywind, frosted, gilt, signed, chatoned, chain/fusee, moulded pillars, chronometer balance with 2 weights and 4 screws, freesprung blued helical balance spring, chatoned diamond endstone on balance.
Robert Roskell was a qualified watch- and clockmaker in Liverpool and London. Due to his various partnerships and takeovers he signed in turn with: "Robert & Son", "Hunt & Roskell", "Robert Roskell Liverpool" or "Roskell Liverpool".
