A lady’s very fine and rare Glashuette gold enamel pocket watch, studded with half pearls and painted in the style of Meissen, sold on 10/31/1893 to Paul Thimig company, Dresden for 280 Marks - with Lange extract from the archives
Case: 18k pink gold, half pearl-set bezels, the back lid with a very fine polychrome painted enamel medallion depicting a pastoral scene, case design "Lucia", gold dome. Dial: enamel, Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds, gold Louis XV hands. Movm.: 3/4 plate movement, frosted, gilt, 16 jewels, gold screw compensation balance, engraved balance cock, gold lever and escape wheel.
