A small hexagonal quarter hour repeating horizontal table clock with quarter hour self strike
Case: brass, gilt, moulded, curved, screwed on decor: volutes and caryatid heads, the sides with six windows framed by cartouches, pusher for repetition at "2", lever "N/S" to set strike/not strike for striking train, three volute feet, rear bell. Dial: enamel, radial Roman hours, arrow shaped hands. Movm.: hexagonal brass movement, gilt, florally engraved and pierced appliques, signed, chain/fusee, 2 florally engraved barrels, 2 hammers, one of them formed and engraved with fish, verge escapement, three-arm steel balance, fine florally engraved and pierced balance cock with shell.
