Omega "Speedmaster", Movement No. 18419273, Ref. 2998-4, Cal. 321, 39 mm, circa 1962
A legendary wristwatch with chronograph, 30 min. and 12h counter, auxiliary seconds and tachy scale
Case: steel, screw back with Speedmaster logo, movement protection cap, original black tachy bezel with small traces of wearing. Dial: black. Movm.: 2/3 plate movement, pink gilt, Glucydur screw balance.
Speedmaster Model 1959
This is the second Omega Speedmaster model. The difference to the first model lies in the hands – the model now has luminous alpha hands and a black aluminium tachymeter scale, which was first engraved "Tachymètre Base 1000 300-60 km/h"; this was changed to "Tachymètre 500-60 km/h" in 1962.
