Case: 18k pink gold, push back. Dial: pink gilt.
Patek Philippe launched this reference in 1942; the model was available in yellow gold, red gold and steel versions (with only six known steel examples). Production of reference 1530 discontinued around 1950.
Surely this is a piece that makes the heart of any experienced collector beat faster - the original condition of the watch with its charmingly aged pink gold dial and the slightly raised enamel scales and inscriptions is indeed a rare stroke of luck.
