Fleurier, 54 mm, 108 g, circa 1835
A rare pocket watch with second time zone, jumping centre seconds and calendar - for the Chinese market

Movm.: bridge movement, lavishly engraved, Chinese duplex escapement, standing barrel, monometallic screw balance with screwed blued and paste stone-set weights.
Even though this pocket watch has not been decorated with one of the marvellous enamel paintings that are so often seen on timepieces from Fleurier, the watch still boasts an extremely lavishly ornamented movement that was created especially to please the Chinese taste.
