Jaeger, Genève

, Movement No. 172004, Case No. 833198, Ref. 22526, Cal. 287, 37 mm, circa 1950

A vintage wristband chronograph in near mint condition, with 45 min. counter and outer tachy scale

Case: steel, push back, original leather bracelet with steel buckle. Dial: silvered.

The steel case has a modern and comfortable size of 37 mm and square chronograph buttons. Over time the silvered dial has acquired a lovely vintage patina, which creates a fine background against the distinct, Arabic numerals and the blued baton hands; there are also two subsidiary dials for the 45-minute counter and for the second. The black tachymeter scale around the outside of the dial completes the attractive, well-balanced appeal of this timepiece. No doubt this wrist chronograph is a cult icon.
