Jaeger-LeCoultre, Swiss

, Case No. 1279074, Ref. 2648.42, Cal. Val. 72, 43 mm, circa 1970

A rare, large vintage "doctor's chronograph" with pulsation scale in the eccentric style of the early 1970's

Case: steel, one piece case, original leather bracelet with steel buckle. Dial: blue.

The 1970s were a strong decade for the development of all types of sports watches. Playful styles and colours combined with technical sophistication were standard. The large one piece steel case with hidden lugs and the brightly orange-coloured set of chronograph hands on the blue dial are most eye-catching features.
