Case: platinum, glazed push back, original platinum deployant clasp. Dial: silvered, window for equation mechanism.
When Blancpain launched their "Villeret Equation du Temps Marchante" model in 2004, the company created a benchmark in the history of watchmaking: they presented a wristwatch with perpetual calendar and equation of time display in combination with a minute hand that displayed solar time. The timepiece was available in a limited edition of platinum and rose gold pieces and fitted with the self-winding calibre 3863.
Produced in a small, limited series of only 50 pieces, the watch combines precise technology with timeless elegance and exudes a refined, classic appeal.
