The hours and minutes are indicated in a subsidiary chapter ring with Roman numerals at 6, the date is displayed at 9 o’clock. A window intricately ornamented with gold tendrils at 12 o’clock reveals the three- arm brass balance.
Christian Huzel's wife, Eberhardine Regine Friederike, was a sister of Sophie Friederike Hahn, the wife of Christian Tobias Hahn (1759-1837), who was the younger brother of Philipp Matthäus Hahn.
