Patek Philippe Genève / Gübelin

, Movement No. 1115564, Case No. 2649081, Ref. 3425, Cal. 27-460, 33 mm, circa 1966

A rare vintage automatic Geneva wristwatch, sold on August 22nd, 1966 - with Patek Philippe extract from the archives

Case: 18k gold, screw back, 18k gold PPC buckle. Dial: silvered.

In the 1960s Patek Philippe launched a number of automatic, watertight watches – reference 3425 is one of them. Production of this double case model ran until 1970 and it was available in yellow, red and white gold cases.
The timepiece is in excellent condition. The silvered dial is original and has never been restored; the enamel minutes and signatures as well as the logo of renowned Swiss retailer Gübelin in the small second at 6 o’clock are still raised. The outstanding original condition of this wristwatch, the comfortable wear and the classic design make it an unusual and fine piece that should please any discerning collector.
