An extremely rare pair-cased verge pocket watch made for the Japanese market
Case: outer case - silver, polished, à goutte, large lateral hinge. Inner case - silver, polished. Dial: gilt, applied movable silver plaques with inlaid Japanese numerals, blued steel "Poker & Beetle" hands. Movm.: full plate movement, keywind, applied engraved ornaments, signed, gilt, chain/fusee, square baluster pillars, three-arm steel balance, florally engraved, pierced balance cock.
