A gentleman's fine, rare quarter repeating pocket watch Case: 18k gold, radial decorated and engraved back lid, monogram, reeded band, pusher for repetition via pendant, case maker's punch mark "OB". Dial: gold, enamel cartouches, Arabic numerals, the center with a polychrome opaque enamel plaque depicting a fisher standing on a lakeside of an alpine landscape, blued Breguet hands. Movm.: full plate movement, frosted, gilt, 2 hammers, 2 gongs, three-arm brass balance, fine florally engraved and pierced balance bridge.
