A very fine precision half hunting case pocket watch with special chronometer detent escapement "Patent Union Chronometer"
Case: 18k gold, the front lid with radial Roman inlaid cobalt blue enamelled numerals, engine-turned, engraved cartouche with monogram, reeded band, gold dome, case maker's punch mark "HF (Hugh Fishwick)". Dial: enamel, radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds, double spade hands. Movm.: 3/4 plate movement, keywind, frosted, gilt, signed, chain/fusee, "Patent Union" chronometer detent escapement, gold screw compensation balance, freesprung blued helical balance spring, chatoned diamond endstone on balance.
