A decorative gold enamel verge pocket watch studded with half pearls - for the Ottoman market Case: gold, the back side decorated with gold paillon stars on a translucent dark-green enamelled ground over engine-turning, central grandulated rosette set with ruby cabochons and half pearls, the bezels and the case band studded with split pearls. Dial: enamel, Ottoman numerals, open-work, filigree gold hands. Movm.: full plate movement, extra thin, keywind, firegilt, signed, chain/fusee, circular pillars, verge escapement, three-arm brass balance, fine florally engraved and pierced balance bridge.
