An outstanding precision regulator with a unique version of the constant force detent escapement "a coup perdu" and experimental compensation pendulum

Case : cherry-wood, stepped, glazed on three sides, black marble wall which supports the movement and the balance to avoid any sort of vibration. Dial : regulator dial, gilt and engine-turned bronze mask with central minute indication, eccentric engine-turned enamel dial with radial Roman hours and minutes at "12", eccentric engine-turned enamel dial for auxiliary seconds at "6", central minute hand, blued Breguet hands. Movm. : solidly constructed brass plate movement, 8 day power reserve, moulded pillars, weight driven, compensation gridiron pendulum with three successive rods, the front rod with pendulum bob is lowerable and raisable with an adjusting square via spool; segment-shaped, engraved regulator scale with pointer, pendulum spring suspension.
