A rare and spectacular watch key with peephole "The Great Celestial Globe of the 1900 Paris World's Fair"

Case: silver, fluted, set with a green, red and blue glass ball. A mini-scene appearing in the peephole represents the "Great Celestial Globe", shown at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1900.

The Great Celestial Globe at the World Exhibition in Paris was a huge blue globe with a diameter of 50 meters; the complete structure rose 60 meters in the air. The globe rested on four pillars displaying studies of space science. The inside of the globe had attractions showing the birth of the sun and the planets and their orbits.
